Born in the Frank Sinatra Wing of the Atlantic City Hospital in New Jersey - I developed an interest in Film & TV from my father, a early pioneer in Cable TV. I took a camera on the road during my tenure as Stage Manager with the Lollapalooza Music Festival and soon became a photographer and cameraman for musicians like The Beastie Boys, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Distillers - and directed music videos.

Taking a break from the road, I attended the American Conservatory Theatre to train as an Actor & Director and later the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA.  I received a Masters in Film (Directing & Screenwriting) at Columbia University’s School of the Arts in New York City. I was awarded a finishing grant from the Milos Forman Fund and won the James Bridges Development Award for Excellence in Directing. My thesis film, "Morning Fall" won faculty honors at the Columbia University Film Festival, was a Finalist for the Student Academy Award and took home the Grand Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the Malibu International Film Festival.

I was later hired by Terence Winter, the creator of HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”, where I spent the majority of my time in the Writers’ room and on the set. As a cast member, I played the recurring character, “Boss Boyd” in Seasons 1, 2 & 3.  I also directed a number of short vignettes for the BluRay, DVD and internet. I spent countless hours observing the work of Terence Winter and top notch Directors Tim Van Patten and Allen Coulter over the five season run of the series. I was personally invited by Mr. Coulter to shadow him as a director on the set of Showtime’s “Ray Donovan” as well.

Currently, I am writing and developing a number of Film & TV  projects. My photography work is featured in the book, “Mondo Lucha a Go-Go: The Bizarre & Honorable World of Wild Mexican Wrestling” released by Harper Collins.
